This practice is not common, but it has been a big topic of discussion. NC has a minimum wage of $7.25/h. Tip minimum wage is $2.13/h. If you don't expect to make any additional income, it doesn't make sense to take $12/h. You're supposed to pay your waiter at least minimum wage, and the tips are meant to cover that difference. Your waiter doesn't have to steal your tips.

How to make a perfect eggroll

Omelets are my favorite breakfast dish. How do you make them perfect? I have tried many different recipes and methods, but none of them work. Today, I'd like to share some tips with you in order to make delicious and fluffy omelets every day.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. You must get them fresh, organically, and keep them cold until you cook. The yolks and whites will not form properly if they aren't kept cold enough. This makes your omelets look weirdly colored. If you intend to cook your eggs immediately, it's best to use room-temperature egg.

Another tip is to separate the egg before adding it to the pan. You don't want any white to get mixed up with the yolk because this could cause the omelet to curdle.

You might burn the bottom of the egg if you place the egg directly on the stovetop. This could ruin the texture of your omelet. Instead, put the egg in the microwave for 10 seconds before putting it into the pan. The microwave heat cooks your egg just right, without it becoming too soft.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. You want to mix the eggs thoroughly before you add them. Turn the bowl upside down and grab the whisk to do this. Then, vigorously shake the bowl. This allows the air to be whipped and the egg to be mixed thoroughly.

The fun part begins - you need to pour the milk into your mixture. The first step is to pour half of the milk in the beaten eggs. Next, fold the eggs into the remaining milk. If you still see streaks of eggs, don't worry. These streaks will disappear once the omelet has been turned over.

After folding the eggs, place the pan on medium heat and wait for the oil to start sizzling. Once the oil has gotten hot, add 1/4 cup of butter and swirl it around so that the entire pan is coated. Now carefully crack open the lid of the pan and sprinkle salt into the pan. A pinch of salt will prevent your omelet from sticking in the pan.

Once the omelet has formed, cover the pan again and wait for the top side to set completely. Flip the omelet upside down or with a spatula. Cook the other side for another minute or two. Serve the omelet immediately by removing it from the pan.

This recipe works best using whole milk. Skimmed milk is also possible.
